A Boston native, Chandra Phillips has attended Gateway Arts since October of 2013.
Phillips is a social butterfly who likes to keep her hands busy with painting, drawing, sewing, and sculpting. Phillips works abstractly, primarily in drawing and embroidery. She uses color and texture in her compositions to create a visual tension between structure and chaos. In her spare time, Chandra enjoys taking long walks through the park to get fresh air in her lungs. She also likes to go to the library to look at magazines.
