Meridith Goldman was born in 1978 in Boston, MA. She started attending Gateway in 2004.
Goldman is an expressive artist who enjoys responding to cultural and visual stimulation. Often, her work–be it two or three dimensional–represents characters from television or film, celebrity personalities and those she interacts with daily. Her drawn imagery typically includes text describing her relation to the subject. Recently Goldman has been spending time developing her embroidery skills, the medium takes to her aesthetic well and the results are quite surprising.
Goldman has exhibited her artwork in Massachusetts at the Mall at Chestnut Hill, Barneys NY, and The Gateway Gallery.
